Ships berth at Molo Bersaglieri, literally beside Piazza Unità d'Italia — one of the few berths in Europe from which you step ashore directly into the historic centre — while the largest vessels use the Porto Nuovo quays. The pier is particularly favoured by premium lines and cruise sailing ships. For passengers ashore for the day we run fixed-price transfers to the Karst, Miramare, Aquileia and Grado, with the return timed against the all-aboard hour; for those embarking or ending a cruise, the natural connection is Ronchi dei Legionari airport, forty minutes away.

Your driver waits at the passenger terminal exit with a board showing your surname. For day excursions we set the return with at least an hour's margin on the ship's all-aboard time: that margin is what makes a day ashore relaxing. On embarkation day we instead calculate the pick-up backwards from boarding close.
